SunCrest Farm Horse Camp

Enjoy one of the best all-horse camps in the Austin area.  Camps are staffed with qualified adult instructors.  The program leader has over 20 years of riding and instruction experience.  Small enrollment ensures more personalized instruction in a positive learning environment.

2010 School Holiday Day Camps offered 9:00 am - 3:30 pm (see summer times below)

Free Transportation during school holidays (times are different than summer)

Northwest:  Container Store (Hwy 183/Loop 360). 
Pick-up/drop-off — 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (see summer times below)

North:  Shepler's Western Wear (I-35/RR 2222).
Pick-up/drop-off — 8:45 am - 3:40 pm (see summer times below)

What to bring to camp:  Lunch, snacks, water jug, dress according to the weather, jeans/long pants (to ride in), hair bands to keep the hair out of your face, sunscreen, cap/hat for additional sun protection, closed toe shoes/low heel boots, and carrots for your new horse buddy.

Girls and Boys ages 6 and up

First-time riders welcome

Maximum 16 campers per week

Adult supervision and instruction

Camp Activities: Campers are assigned their own horse for the week, and learn responsibility for the daily care, grooming, and well-being of the horses. Campers receive riding lessons daily, along with lessons on veterinary care, safety, grooming, and horse show preparation. Field trips are taken to the veterinary clinic on Wednesday afternoon and to the lake (with horses) on Thursday (if weather and lake level permits).

Excellent record for satisfaction and safety.
